Wilcove Mosaic

This 25 sq/m Urban Eye mosaic is at the entrance to Wilcove Estate on Ashmill Street NW1. Following consultation with Wilcove Resident Association it was agreed that the mosaic should carry the name of the estate. Drawing classes were organised with local Primary School Christ Church Bentinck to decorate letters for the mosaic which was then constructed at the school.

 

The project was funded by Octavia Housing who organised a launch event for residents, project participants and the press. A commemorative plaque was dedicated by local MP Karen Buck.
